Samsung has introduced its new foldable smartphone model named Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone earlier of the Galaxy Unpacked event, which was about to held on the 5th of August. The new smartphone model offers a similar seamless and foldable display as the Galaxy Z Flip still with 5G capability for bringing faster speeds for users.
Samsung’s new model comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen primary display with a 1080x2636 pixel resolution at a 425 pixels per inch (PPI) pixel density. At its second pixel, the new model is featured a 1.10-inch with a 112x300 pixel resolution at a pixel density of 303 pixels per inch (PPI).
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is inbuild with a 2.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. The smartphone comes with a RAM of 8GB. The smartphone is powered by a 3300mAh battery and runs on Android 10. Alongside this, the new Samsung model supports wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a rare pack primary camera of 12 megapixels with a pixel size of 1.4-micron and an f/1.8 aperture. It has a second primary camera with a 12-megapixel camera with a pixel size of 1.12-micron and an f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone has an autofocus rear camera setup. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G supports a front selfie camera with 10-megapixel with a pixel size of 1.22-micron and an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone runs Android 10 based on One UI 2.0 and inbuilt storage packs of 256GB. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G measures a weight of 183.00 grams and a height x width x thickness of 167.30 x 73.60 x 7.20mm, respectively. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G was launched in 2 colors such as Mystic Bronze colors and Mystic Grey.
In addition, Samsung has included several new features to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G like the Flex mode that automatically splits the phone display into two 4-inch screens when it is kept free-standing. This allows users to see content on the upper half of the display, meanwhile controlling the other half.
In the meanwhile, the Multi-Active Window uses the Multi-Window Tray to drag and drop the app that users wish to use, enabling users to open and use 2 apps at the same time.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth v5.00. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has sensors include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, barometer, fingerprint sensor, and gyroscope. The smartphone also supports a face unlock system.
However, it is not yet confirmed that whenever the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G model will be released, it will be allowed to release in Australia or not.
